A minute on Skipping Ahead. Is it ever ok to skip pages when reading a book and you hit a patch that you are struggling with but you don't want to DNF ? Skim read? Fast forward? Whatever name it goes by - does it have a place as a valid reading technique? Have you done it? I know I have and I know I would do it again, if I needed to. Does that make me a bad reader? What do you think?
