Minute on Insta-love: I adore Romance and everything to do with it. The longing stares across crowded rooms, the pining from either one or both sides, the big leap of faith and the well fought for and deserved Happy Endings. The world of Romance is my happy place and I could wax lyrical about it endlessly. Apart from Insta-love. I am very much a no on those types of stories, thank you very much! I sometimes wonder if that makes me a bad Romance reader as I react so viscerally to a trope which ticks all the boxes. Believe me, I have tried to like them but I often come away feeling frustrated when I read them. Is it just me? Am I too cynical for them? I am interested to know what people think about them and why people love them? What's your favourite Insta-love? Or are you like me, and if you never read them again, it would still too soon 😂 As ever, my opinions are shared in good faith and humour! I look forward to seeing your recommendations!
