Series Recs: My Top Three Adult Entertainer Romances πŸ“šπŸ’•

I always find the stories set in the world of Adult Entertainment really interesting as a trope or subset of Contemporary Romance. By definition they are high heat or full of spice, but the actual stories of human connection or interaction are always fascinating. The exploration of the friction of sex in a work context vs in a relationship setting often makes for good tension in a story and there are endless scenarios or tropes that can be woven into some very compelling romances full of pining, yearning and love. These are not erotica but Romances, so while there is a lot of heat, there is also a lot of heart and HEAs too. I have read some very good series and I thought I would recommend my top three.

Lights, Camera, Love! by E.M. Denning

This series is by E.M. Denning and there are currently 4 books;

  1. Final Edit

  2. First Take

  3. Freeze Frame

  4. Fade Out

I have read books 1-3, which are all currently available. I liked this series very much as it is really easy to read and relatively low angst. The world building is really good and the books are connected so the same characters appear across the different individual books. A good place to start if you are new to this type of Romance setting.

The Elite 8 Studios by Emmy Sanders

This series is written by Emmy Sanders and there are currently 7 books available;

  1. Dix

  2. Malibu

  3. Tink

  4. Himbo

  5. Teddy

  6. Felix

  7. Bruiser

I have read all the books and I think the whole series is incredibly strong. I am a huge fan of Emmy Sanders and so each of the stories is full of heart and characters that are easy to relate to. There are lots of different Romance tropes within the series, so there’s something for everyone and it doesn’t feel like a lot of work to read all of the books. The world building and camaraderie between the group of friends that are at the core of the Elite 8 studios is exceptional. I think if you are interested in found family stories and interesting work places then this is definitely a series that you will enjoy.

Ballsy Boys by K.M. Neuhold and Nora Phoenix

The Ballsy Boys co-written by K.M. Neuhold and Nora Phoenix and there are five books;

  1. Rebel

  2. Tank

  3. Heart

  4. Campy

  5. Pixie

This was probably one of the earliest sets of MM Romances and the first set of Adult Entertainer Romances that I read. The entire series is so incredibly well written and every single story is strong. They are the oldest of the three books series that I have recommended, but they hold up incredibly well. I think they are a great set of books and are definitely worth reading.

Kinky Boys - Ziggy by K.M. Neuhold and Nora Phoenix

As a bonus, I thought I would share my all time favourite book in this genre. K.M. Neuhould and Nora Phoenix wrote a spin-off series to Ballsy boys, called Kinky boys, which contained two books, Daddy and Ziggy. It is really sad that no more books were written as part of the series as they are exceptionally good (I do low-key hope for more). My favourite book is Ziggy. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Everything about this story worked so well, the couple were perfect for each other and it showed in their chemistry. The evolution of their romantic journey as they really had to fight hard for their HEA. This was a story that stayed with me a long time after I finished and I still regularly re-read. I would highly recommend this book.
